Violet Chen’s great success as an agent can be attributed to five very positive qualities: a love of mathematics, an international business background, a dedication to quality service, lots of hard work, and a very friendly and upbeat nature.
Born in Taiwan, Violet moved to Vancouver with her family in 1996, and in 2005 graduated from UBC with a degree in Mathematics. "My love of math and sensitivity to numbers enables me to provide accurate info, careful analysis and creative solutions when advising my real estate investment clients in particular."
Regarding her prior business background, Violet was a project manager for a large Taiwanese mobile phone accessory manufacturer, traveling all over the world. "It was a very demanding and high-responsibility position which I think well prepared me for the cultural and business diversity of Vancouver’s real estate marketplace."
In 2009, Violet moved back to Vancouver and became a REALTOR® on the encouragement of her father who had been in the construction industry for 35+ years. Since then she has very successfully specialized in downtown Vancouver, the Vancouver East/West boundary, Burnaby and Richmond, where she has sold all types of re-sale homes, as well as project pre-sales and investor-owned assignments and tenanted properties.
With her business background, strong analytical skills, deep overseas ties and fluency in both Mandarin and Taiwanese, Violet well understands the Asian investment focus and has represented many international clients. But that's just one side of the equation. "As a wife and mother balancing work and family life, I also really enjoy working with first-time buyers, with seniors looking for a change, and with luxury home owners selling or sourcing both on- and off-market properties."
That balancing act is generating great results for Violet and her clients.
